McBASH Visit

I had planned to do the long run today and went over for the weekend, but the weather was fookin awful this morning, when we woke in the hotel near Oban the rain was being hammered against the windows with gales force winds so we said, fook it, and came home !
So the runs will be as much a mystery to us as they will be for you guys !!

Anyway, on another note.
One thing I wanted to offer everyone coming next month, is a visit to the Hollow Mountain

There would be no cost but what I need to know is how many of you would like to go ?
Reason is we have about 22 people booked for the weekend which is the max number for their tour bus. If we have more than that we will have to go in 2 Groups.
So if you can let me know if you want to have a look (I will!) I can book the tour bus to suit.

Come on you Hatters
Well I'm buggered, Jules has just showed me the exact same place to visit.@tu* We'll have a spare afternoon once back at Lochgilphead after doing the NC500 this week. So it looks like we may be going there next Saturday.

We had to run up from Lochgilphead to Fort Bill this morning, the winds through Glencoe were horrendous, nearly had us off a couple of times. there was a caravan in bits off the side of the road up on the moor itself too. Been holed up in the Hotel here since lunchtime.
Really hoping it blows through tonight so we can do Skye tomorrow.

Having done the Glencoe loop the other day, and then Glen Lyon via Loch Lomond I'd recommend the Inverary-Dalmally-Tyndrum option rather than going to Tarbert-Crianlarich-Tyndrum. The road from Tarbert round Loch Lomond is very touristy, slow and full of Grockles and is pretty rough in places. The Inverary-Dalmally road flows much better and there'd then be time to do Kinlochleven which is also great fun.
