mmmmm how long have you got ... we all talk about the bullet proof reliabilty of the bird but there is always a joker in the pack and i own it :bang:

Oil leaks from both engine side cases
2x petrol tap diaphragms
1 petrol tap
1 radiator
1 set of carbs
exhaust headers
two trips to the dino to sort out misfires ?250 a visit
electric faults on the dash and lights (un solved)
vibration that goes through the bike (un solved)
so that covers the last couple of months kinda loose track after that but the list goes on i would say it works out on avrage the bikes gets a new fault breaks something or breaks down about once a week and has done pretty much since i bought it...if it goes a couple of months without giving me grief you know the next month will be an expensive one.ive only put up with it because i really like the bike and as others on hear have found what do you replace a bird with? but as im out of work i cant keep throwing money at it so its time is near im sorry to say thats if i can get it to go long enough without breaking for a dealer to test ride it :cry:
