Great day out Clive - thanks for the route planning and organistion etc. Jane was very pleased with herself by the time we got home, and is now looking forward to next weekend's run . Went the long way back - via Blackpool for an impromtu visit to her folks. Eventually got home about midnight - bloody freezing 8ree! coming back over Saddleworth Moor last night.

FAO nige, thank f**k for that,!!! when jane started signaling just by the services I thought she was short of fuel, but by the time she had gotten alongside me, we were past the entrance, so Tina and I assumed you had "shot off" on "T" Blackpool turn, for fuel,
we got home about 8.30, and in DEEP shit, with the babysitters so were "grounded" until we can get back in their "good" books,
I must admit though I did enjoy the "spirited" part of the run, as Ive posted before, I don't do "tootle" very well,
anyone know where I can get a special seat made up for my "rack" :rolleyes: apparently the Birds seat isn't good enough for some,!!! :rolleyes: :eek: :}
nice to meet Grampi and Rictus as well, now who likes riding in cow poo when attempting to "round a corner" glad you made it though,
must have been some CLASS riding

Looks like you all had a splendid time.
Sorry I couldn't make it this time, (Typical, it was nice weather again!)

I WILL get out on the next one ( day 2 most likely).

Keep safe.

Sunday

Was good to see Clive fighting fit again and also to meet a few new faces (you know who you are).
Also good to Jane out on the 600 going like the clappers in a few places too.

Must say though that 140 miles in over 7 hrs was a little disapointing,, don't think the BB is suited to 20mph 'B'roads and farm tracks.

It wasn't my best departure that afternoon but i wasn't entirely a bundle of laughs, i felt exhausted yet hadn't been anywhere. I did not wish to return home via m/way but time was dictating the outcome of it.

CLIVE, it's not a dig at anyone and i DO thank you for organising it, in hindsight i'm glad i went though i should have peeled off at LEYBURN.

Hi Folks

Clive, thanks for organising yet another great ride out.

Great to see you all again and nice to meet Nigs, Jane and Rictus.
Mighty respect to Jane!, I hadn't picked up on it before that she had just passed her test. Maybe after a couple more rides Jane, you could help Ianrobbo out with the faster sections? and Tina, respect for the stunt riding! and on a fast section too! (Sue's scared even with the Back box)
The wever looks very promising for the week end, look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.

Sue and I are off to The Loire valley on Friday 24th September and returning Thursday the week after. sailing from Hull to Zeebrugge if any one is interested in joining us give us a call.
