Over winter I've had a bit of a leak in the ceiling by one of the lights. I bought some Sikaflex 532 intending to remove the roof windows and such and reseal them as well as the join where the corner trim meets the roof. I went up to give the roof a clean to remove the winter grime before giving it a deeper clean as I did things. Now at the back of the roof was an area that had been covered by a rough coating for grip inside the roof railing. This has mostly peeled away this last year and to my horror has exposed a dozen or so little holes from 2 to 5 mm.
Now I'm planning to get an 8ft x4ft sheet of PVC hygiene cladding and fix it over the affected area. Can anyone suggest a good adhesive or should I buy more sikaflex 522. The sheet will partly be held in place by the roof rail fittings being screwed through it too.

Tec7 is a good product but I don't know if they do what you need exactly.

I used Tec7 roof (without the strands) around a boiler flue in an old corrugated asbestos roof which was damp and it cured the leak. I don't think it fully sets.

Can you not get it coated again. I would think that there are products for that purpose - for older roofs to repair/waterproof.

No doubt Jaws will know.

Sikaflex seems to be ‘the one’ to use on MH roofs and seals.

did you ever join MHO? Ask on there as there are several on there who can answer better than me

Decisions descisions .......

Good quality coating might be better than sheeting where you can't see what's going on underneath.
