Saw it this morning. While certainly unwise and unwanted in the game all the furore demanding ten game bans and the like is way over the top in my opinion. If a player had done that to me while I was officiating I would have had a quiet word and that is what it appears the referee did on this occasion.

I watched the game and whilst Fernandes did make quite a bit of a cock of himself on more than one occasion, the hand on the back of the artist-formerly-known-as-linesman warranted nothing more than a quiet word.
