Life in the old "Bird" yet. (Trackday related)

I took the Bird out on a track day at Cadwell yesterday and if you watch the video you will see that she performed well against the plethora of newer sports / race bikes. I was impressed with her (I was very track rusty though)

Very nice. You've done that before lol.

You did the right thing getting past that guy at about 5:20, threepenny bitting round the bends.

Great stuff, weather looks okay given what we have endured so far. Never seen so many bikes with reverse gear. 8rfl@8rfl@8rfl@

Was it a day out for bow-legged Power Rangers?

Nice bit of riding there and despite it's weight it shows the 'bird is no slouch and handles pretty damn well.

I have to say there were a few mobile chicanes. It made passing difficult as you were never quite sure where they would go...

Thanks, enjoyed that and I reckon you won. What camera and tyres were you using?

I used a Go Pro hero camera and have Pirelli Diablo Corsa tyres at 36 psi.

Excellent Vid. Sounds fantastic in full flow.

Nice to see a sixteen year old design showing the younguns how it's done.

Good video, what class were you running in ?

I was in the novice. I normally run in the inters but as I've not been on track for a whole and never at Cadwell on the Bird I thought I'd be ok in novice. I tried to move up but inters was full.

Loved watching that earlier today, thanks for putting it up there. Will be a while before I take my new Bird on a track, got to get used to her a bit first, but nice to see how well they handle it with someone who knows what they're doing.
