thanks rolfy....nothing wrong with the barge mate...i still rate it very highly indeed,it's just that my needs have changed.been having the "mid life crisis" most of my life (so says the SWMBO)and never had a sports bike,needed to get one to sample the delights of riding one.blu asked me if i missed anything at all of the bird,and my answer was NO.the blade does everything that "I" wanted a bike for...only does it better/easier than the bird ever did.i think it's only possible failing would be in the touring/luggage stakes,but seeing as i don't really do that...it ain't a problem.

As far as I seem to recall, Smix isnt a mother yet ???

Unless of course there is something she hasnt told us... I personally think she must be the perfect virgin Bird rider ('scuse me while I get me nose brown enough !!! LOL), and she dont need $10,000 a day on makeup to make her look good

Anyway, Women dont have MLC, they have Menopause, but I dont think she is due for that for many years yet (not from the photos I have seen:lick

BTW... The Bird was my mid life crisis... No extra grilfriends, no younger totty hanging round at the moment..:cry:. Life's a shite just now...

Thinking about either a Goldwing or Bimmer K1200GT to enable us to tour for longer now with Jans hips getting worse by the week... Feck old age, it aint all its cracked up to be:xm
