Quite a statement considering innocent until proved guilty
I said pretty much the same thing last night. Mrs P. has said he's had this coming because of the company he's kept and the circles he's mixed in over the years. Doesn't mean anything to me, he's innocent until proven guilty.

Whether he had sex with her not, I don't know and I care even less. What bothers me though, same with a lot of these 'me too' cases, why has she waited 21 years before coming forward?

This woman was paid $500,000 years ago to keep her trap shut and she's now in breach of the agreement. What I think has happened here, and this is only my opinion before anyone starts, is that she's spent all the money and is now skint. With all this 'me too' bollocks going on, she's decided to jump on the bandwagon and see if she can get a few more quid out of it. Either way, she seems to me to be motivated by greed.

She has refused to settle out of Court so not motivated by greed

If she's not motivated by greed, why is she suing? You don't sue to clear your name, you sue for money. The eyes of the world are on her, she wants to be seen to be taking the moral high ground.

That totally overlooks the damage that has been /may have been done to her (I’m not judging as I have no idea) - it has been established that there was exploitation going on in the Epstein world, why should time be a barrier to making those involved accountable? If it had been a priest involved with young boys would you want it time barred?

Her legal representative David Bois is a real piece of work…I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end.

I still find it hard to believe how Andrew got embroiled in this…surely someone should have been telling him to disengage from Epstein. Surely someone should have been telling him not to do the near suicidal itv interview. I have always thought he was alright, sadly to me he is now coming across as someone who has been incredibly naive and possibly felt entitled. I suppose yet another example of someone being born into an unreal world.

I wonder how this is going to affect the value of my mint condition in box Bells Andrew & Fergie commemorative whishy decanter?

She has refused the first offer of settlement, I think you mean.
If the offer had been bigger, I bet she would have taken it.
Of course she would! This is about money, nothing else. She's determined to go to trial to vindicate herself, my arse! The world forgot about her 20 years ago, why feel the need to drag it all up again to clear her name? Like I said above, she's either run out of money or she's greedy.

That's Mrs P's argument in that he hasn't done himself any favours with the company he's kept. He's royalty, offs, why mix with low life like Epstein and Maxwell?

My issue is not the barrier of time insofar as crimes should not go unpunished. My beef is that she's kept quiet since she got paid off in 2009, so why wait 12 years to speak out? Indeed, she shouldn't have taken the payment but instead spoke out when it first happened. Why didn't she? She enjoyed the financial trappings and privileges of the life she was leading.

Let me put it another way - if one of your imaginary friends punched you in the face, would you wait 20 years before thumping him back?

Sadly I think the world that Epstein and Maxwell lived in was far from ‘low life’ in anything other than a moral sense - it was a world for the mega rich and privileged, so far outside the world that we live in it is virtually unbelievable.

IF Andrew or anyone else is guilty I have no issue with consequences being faced regardless of time passing.

My imaginary friend stopped talking to me well over twenty years ago when I was charged with illegal hare coursing using dogs from my illegal puppy farm.

I'm surprised you're defending him. His rep in the Navy was piss poor.
I thought he had a distinguished career? If 8 remember correctly he was active in The Falklands conflict? His ‘Vice Admiral’ is an earned rank rather than one that was bestowed, which is why he is keeping it. Can’t imagine that he didn’t earn it, but what do I know?

It seems to me that a majority of victims wait considerable lengths of time before telling anybody of how there were mistreated.

Many have committed suicide and many others became dysfunctional as a result. Victims appear unable to take a logical approach to the situation.

This is quite a different case in every way.

Historically royalty had who and whatever they wanted.

Not judging at all as non of us know the full facts but two things come to mind

Andrew was born into and brought up in an unreal world of money and privilege even his navy career would have been thought out in advance and no matter how you look at it he wouldn't have been treated as just another navy officer the same goes for the rest of his life, these sort of people simply don't have the same values or morals as us as it is never on their radar to be what most of us would call normal, hence I can see it him easily being led astray by the likes of Epstein

Second yon girlie may have been paid off in the past but who knows what mental problems were caused by the supposed offence, maybe she originally thought money was the answer and has since found out it wasn't at that time, lets face it as a teen you think you know everything but its not until much later in life that you understand what a prat you were, more money now may provide a cushion that she actually needs or on the other hand it may be just a money grab, we as (mostly) men actually have no idea what stresses and strains she was and maybe is still under

No amount of money can compensate for a ruined life if that is actually what has happened!

The rotary wing world in the Services is small and I know a few who've served on helicopters in the Navy. Andrew is not spoken of fondly by many at all that I've talked to, with the exception of the odd officer who thought it was career enhancing to suck up to him. When he was at RAF Leeming for his basic flying tuition he was apparently insufferably arrogant towards most people there.

By all the accounts that I've heard, his Excocet decoying heroics were seriously overblown.

As has been said, he's from an "entitled" elite - think Boris et al....

Don't forget his nickname way back then - Randy Andy. Constantly in the tabloids with yet another female.

I suspect he's not only as entitled as Boris he equally has no comprehension of how folks view him in the real world.

Anyone with an ounce of sense would not have given that TV interview - and if they did would not have said what he did.

I'm sure the smart advisors would have advised just that - that he went and did it anyway speaks volumes.

I wouldn’t read anything into ‘Randy Andy’ - I have been called that on and off for as long as I can remember, as I am sure every other Andy has on the planet.
