They look the bizzz

Very nice Ed,
Of all the cans I have seen, I like the high ones best.
Was it much work to fit, and did you need to move much around ?

They came with all the bits needed, you have to space the rear footpegs out by about 10mm both sides, the cbs valve then has to be spaced in 10mm(it is attatched to the lhs rear footpeg bracket)
The indicators have to be swapped for the small diamond ones and dropped down about 50mm otherwise they sit in the way of the cans.
The whole fitting job takes about 1 hour in all so pretty easy really!

Murt, you are a bit slow there. Jaws and Loobrush had laid claim to them before i even picked them up!!!!
Just keep your eyes open for some, i ended up getting them for just ?230 so i'm well chuffed!!!!!

Steve, suprisingly they dont get hot so no problems there, do get warm but wouldnt burn you.

As far as performance goes i am not sure wether they make much difference as the link pipes are slightly narrower than most aftermarket cans, also apparently having the two bends in them doesnt help gas flow, my bike is carbed and they have made no difference to the running at all, with most race cans i would have expected around 5k revs to be very poor but not so with these.
The bird is fast enough for me anyway, the more important factor for me is they look and sound excellent!!!

Stan
Thanks for the compliment and yes they are indeed renegades.

Mr Picquet
There is a place near me that will make up exhaust pipes for anything you want, an old site member was quoted ?100 per side for high level link pipes, if you do want to go high level let me know and i will measure up all the spacers you need to make room for pipes.

Hi Psycho
You will need to scour E-bay and the small ads to find some that cheap, i bought them from a guy who had done about 3k miles with them from new and then sold the bike. He tried to sell them on e-bay but showed no pictures and it was a poor description so didnt reach his reserve, i e-mailed him and then bought them privately from him.
Good luck with finding some!!
