when what you expect to be a really crappy, irritating, frustrating job turns out to be really simple.

Was asked to fix a leaky toilet for someone today, toilet sealed to the wall so no access to remove the filling valve or flush valve without dismantling the whole thing....of course they weren't the valves where you could remove them from inside the cistern and replace easily.......looked like it was going to be a beast of a job.

One twist of the flush valve sorted it.

Happy days.

Wonder how much a plumber would have charged.

Unfortunately I do believe in Ying and yang, wonder what simple looking job is coming my way that will turn out to be a right pig.....

I know what you mean.... Final build of project Bird going really well..
Woman wants the old Jaws MC stores turned in to a sort of Gazebo, which means every thing in there will have to move in to my workshop
Which in turn means I have to clear the workshop of approx. 45 years of accumulated goodies.. Well goodies to me but crap to most folk

Well thank you Derek, I have learned something new - I always thought it was 'Ying and Yang'.

It's Taken well over ten years, but visiting this site has finally paid dividends.
