Despicable.
Aint interested in the rights and wrongs of the fishing dispute, but a monumentally stupid thing to say:
“These are long-standing fishing traditions and patterns, which predate any claim by any other jurisdiction of these jointly fished grounds.”
Love, if you wanna base your arguments on long established traditions you should check you history books !!!
As for the women who got a clump, while I cannot possibly see a valid argument for such action, I would bet a pond to a pinch of salt it was not totally unprovoked
Blokes start being cheeky, start trying it on..
Women cop the hump and start back with verbal, maybe take the piss.. It all gets out of hand.
Effectively a fight ensues and of course the woman are gonna come off much worse
After the cctv footage is viewed I would not be surprised to see the blokes get done for ABH or common assault, and if CPS wants to get snooty the women charged with inciting an affray or some other public disturbance charge
Very very true... I think the real problem is that teenagers today are yesterdays 8 and 9 year oldQuite possibly, John. While walloping a woman is never on sadly young teenagers don't usually have the nouse to just walk away.
The reason I disagree is I just can't see how you can make such a judgement based on what has been reported. Basically it looks like you are saying the ladies wound the attackers up and deserved a thumping.Very very true... I think the real problem is that teenagers today are yesterdays 8 and 9 year old
What I surprise . Beaker bloke disagrees !!

No idea.. I was not there... but for all we know the women started it.. I speak from experience having been on the wrong end of misplaced comments be ladies who ( admittedly were a bit the worse for ware ) thought it was perfectly acceptable to grab my crotch ...Why did the men think it was ok to have some "fun" at the women's expense? why did they have to pick on them in the first place? how many times when there has been trouble has someone involved said we were only having a bit of fun? their idea of fun is not the same as the ones they have picked on.

Sorry you feel that way john. We both know that the written word can be interpreted in different ways by the writer and the reader. No idea.. Chances are the blokes were just being knobs and were indeed bang out of order from start to finish.. My post was merely to point out we do not know the whole story only what the woman have said..
And you have jumped to the same conclusion
I did say "after the CCTV footage is viewed"
Did you actually to bother to read what I posted, or just pick out bits to get righteous about ?
Sorry you feel that way john. We both know that the written word can be interpreted in different ways by the writer and the reader.
" I would bet a pond to a pinch of salt it was not totally unprovoked" to this reader seems pretty clear!!
Fair point. And the preceding sentence "I cannot possibly see a valid argument for such action" ?
