Um, it’s actually very true.

No it’s not, you said a Prison guard gave him his name but it was actually the Police who called him “evil” & he changed it to Evel

Evel Knievel was named by a guard when he was locked up (for a change) and his cell mate was called Awful Knoffel.
He wasn’t his cell mate & his name was William, he was nicknamed awful to rhyme with knoffel

The battle of Trafalgar was close enough to the shore that many of the sailors from stricken ships were able to wade ashore ( info from the Trafalgar plaque located at Trafalgar point 30 miles south of Cadiz where the battle took place )

The origin of the ‘rude’ V sign can be traced back to Cromwellian times (I think ish) - Cromwells mob (but it might have been someone else) were in the habit of chopping off the two fingers on captured opposition archers that were used to pull, the string back on bows.

It is also still written in law that it is legal to kill a Scotsman if they are carrying a bow within the city walls of York. I,assume that doesn’t apply to stringed instrument players.

In recent years an explanation for the origin of the V-sign dating it from the Battle of Agincourt has appeared. This story maintains that British archers were so effective and so feared by their enemy that when the French captured an archer they chopped off the two fingers he needed to draw a bow-string. Bowmen who had not been thus disfigured took to holding up two fingers to taunt their cowardly foes. Needless to say, there is no shred of evidence to support this unlikely origin, but it is on its way to becoming entrenched in the popular mind and becoming folklore in itself. It is possible that the V-sign developed from the much older horns symbol, used to imply someone is a cuckold since at least the 16th century, although this gesture

The engine in the delorean has cylinders arranged in. 90degree V rather than the usual 60degrees for a V6 as it was originally developed as a V8 where the cylinder banks are normally at 90degrees. The engine (known as PRV) was developed by Peugeot Renault, and Volvo (hence PRV) - all three brands used it in production models.

The only factory option available on a delorean was an auto gearbox, with the only choice being black or grey leather interior.

For the record, deloreans were pretty awful to drive although much improved over the years by after market conversions.
