Who does the best insurance deals for Blackbirds.
I've sold my Harley so I'm going to lose the cheap Harley insurance which covered all the bikes.

I also did extensive shopping around and found honda insurance to be the best price. I could have got it slightly cheaper but you must take into account all the extras which are included and which one's will be benificial to you.

I have just had a quote from Honda Insurance for ?350, thats fully comp + Euro cover + Uninsured losses + a Suzuki GS125 on the policy as well, also fully comp.

Seems pretty good for a rider who passed his test 2 years and 1 month ago.

There aren't any good ones, but, Honda quoted ?350 this year, 4yrs NCB, Laxtons quoted me ?327 with protected NCB and business insurance, Honda couldn't beat that. 8ree!

HOWEVER Roadsure bikes have just beat that, ?293 as above with ?550 excess! :bow: :yo:

MORE THAN LAST YEAR!!!!! just renewed mine with honda..just a few minute's ago for ?320.50p,f/c, legal cover,european cover..?350 excess.i've got 2 yrs NCB and i'm 43.last year it was ?440 so a reduction of ?120 (if my maths are good)...so how come your paying more this year.mind you i rang them and told them i'd had a cheaper quote with virgin(which i did have)and they then bettered it.what pisses me off is,why don't they just give you the cheapest possible quote in the first place to save you hrs of phoning around....no need to answer that,i know why...i think

bought a Harley cause my insurance was through the roof (see bad boys thread). It was the only way to get a bigCC bike that'd cover distances. Had the blackbird for a while but because I still had the Harley I could cover it on that policy for an extra ?60 a year. Now I've sold the Harley if anything goes tits up I'm told I wont be covered by that policy anymore. To have the Blackbird as the main bike with the Firestorm was an extra ?400 from the same insurers.

I`ve just had a quote from BIKESURE......same details as Bennetts policy for the storm ?250 fully comp.....(Bennetts ?320 fully comp).
I know which one i`ll be choosing............. :beer:
