The last referee who tried sending me off got an earful & I stayed on the pitch.
It's louts like you that see the number of referees willing to undertake matches reduce by the week.

I hope the match was abandoned and you were banned for a significant period, minimum 182 days for that offence.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

It was a sunday at work & D wing staff always played c wing staff at dinner time for a kick about, c wing got fed up with D wing always winning so they brought another member of staff to referee, his qualifications were several years out of date, he gave a goal to c wing that never crossed the line (his own admittance) he pulled me for a foul throw that wasn’t & I lost it with him.

Give me one example from the Man City game this week when the referee wasn’t right.

Bet you can’t.....
Why in God's boots would anyone be interested in a Man City game?

Let me put it another way, referees are human, humans are fallable therefore referees are not always right, specially when their qualifications are ten years out of date.

I can't say I'm surprised.

What i found when I was refereeing is that a lot of spectators thought it was 'part of the game' to be abusive to referees. I can't remember how many times I had to turn the other cheek, both on and off the pitch, and quite often in car parks after the game when there was often someone who felt they needed to,say something. Fortunately I am quite a big lad so they kept their distance, as one would expect com cowardly idiots.

Players generally tended to 'self police' - if someone was crsossing the line there tended to be a number of players from both sides that would come in and help the referee.

Even then I abandoned twelve games over a thirty odd year career when it got out of hand, the majority being behaviour off the pitch, three of those being youth matches.
