Interesting I wanted to buy some grass ( man )

Wanted 5 kg of grass seed.. Last time I bought it, it was about 1/6d a pound
a 5 kilo bag now seems to range from £35 to £65 !!!!!!!!!!

Jeeez.. I wanna plant if not smoke it !

I am afraid that can go on the back burner for a while !!!

Wilkinson’s often have seed loose either heavy duty or premium
Can’t remember the price ... but it’s much cheaper than the price you suggested

If your weather is anything like it is down here @Jaws i would leave putting seed down until,September unless you want to get the sprinkler out every day.

Sprinkler had been out daily until Wednesday..stopped when the WX maps indicated rain..
Had to wait until last night, but it still has not stopped after 14 hours.. and it really has been quite biblical here !

We had a couple of spots of rain on Wednesday, lasted about twenty seconds, nothing for ages.

I normally just get a bag full approx £2-3
No idea about weight .... but reckon it’s the same weight as the boxed stuff for 1/3 of the price !

Ended up just getting ONE kilo after I found out it is only to reseed an area of about 4 sqare metres.
Got it from Wickes... £14
