National launch of Bikesafe 2005 at Cheltenham racecourse April 2/3rd

Looks like being a good show, with manufacturers (Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki) offering test rides off their fleet, andbiking related companies such as Autocom etc bringing their wares, plus Police/ROSPA, and trade stands. Together with bike clubs, it should be a good weekend

I thought fifty was a very good birthday to have

From being very very depressed at the time (50 and nothing to show for it, where has my life gone, what have I got to look forward to etc etc etc) things began to pick up

Trophychap and I got married that year (the "reception" lasted just over two days - you would have enjoyed it!)

Pete got 'properly' back into biking that year

I legalised my common-law-step-grandchildren (lol) that year

all in all, it was a very good year indeed!
