I fought the law.........

and I got an apology!!
Long and short of it is that the day I was stopped the local plod were running an initiative with the council road safety brigade to target moped riders, so I can see how they got confused and pulled a blackbird over
The chap I spoke to conceded that the stop should never have happened because they were aiming at mpoeds not bigger bikes and said with hindsight they should have done the biz at the roadside.
The whole thing about being escorted back to the station with blue lights was apparently an oversight on the part of the plod that stopped me, apparently he forgot to turn them off :bang: :bang:
Oh and the bit about being prosecuted for an offence was a mistake too, the wrong box was ticked :bang: which I pretty much thought was the case but didn`t stop me lynching the postman every day for 2 weeks . He even said he was sorry that I`d been caused so much distress and that he would be reporting to the chap in charge of the initiative and making sure it didn`t happen again.
So I`m pretty pleased with the apology considering all I was expecting was a whole load of bullshit about procedure and stuff.

Yep Jaws i read all about it and my god what a load of crap. Just goes to show how inatentive car drivers are " I'm nice and safe in my box syndrome ". My mate got knocked off his 750 gixer 2 years ago the best bit is the special paint job dayglo yellow. And the guy in the car didn't see him until he went over the bonnet, and he still thought it was a pedestrian. Wasn't till the plod got there he even realised my mate was on a bike. 8l1nd
