Did similar with mine, the TL was loads of fun I just couldn't live with it as an every day bike as it tapped in to my inner nutcase and I would have ended up without a license
Only V twin I have owned and the only one I have ridden that I actually like but its a loonie machine
True funny shaped engines are for girls or the mentally unstable but there is always an exception to the rule and if you are not mental riding a TL you soon will bePiss orf. I saw it first.!

I’m lucky enough to have a V-twin, triple and the I4 in the Bird but it’s the V-twin that brings out the inner hooligan in me...
I test rode one for a day when my EXUP was in for a service back in the day. What an absolute riot of a bike to ride! I've often trawled Fleabay with the intention of picking up a good used one.
