I part exchanged it when I bought the bird. One of the stupidest things I've ever done. Should have kept it.

Did similar with mine, the TL was loads of fun I just couldn't live with it as an every day bike as it tapped in to my inner nutcase and I would have ended up without a license

Only V twin I have owned and the only one I have ridden that I actually like but its a loonie machine

I’m lucky enough to have a V-twin, triple and the I4 in the Bird but it’s the V-twin that brings out the inner hooligan in me...

I test rode one for a day when my EXUP was in for a service back in the day. What an absolute riot of a bike to ride! I've often trawled Fleabay with the intention of picking up a good used one.

I've always been tempted by the TL1000R, not quite the yobbo that the S was, but an underrated bike just the same.
