Nope.
First sign of Beemer ownership....denial.
Nope.
You really think this is a site for motorised cycles??Makes me wonder why someone that thinks cars are better than bikes is still on a bike site, wouldn't they have him on car forums?? Its either that or he can recognise that bikers are a decent set of lads and cage drivers are up each others arse!

Go-ogle result for internet troll
"-a person who posts remarks or comments onto internet forums or message boards in an attempt to get someone to comment negatively to it and to redirect attention onto himself. Usually, these remarks are controversial, stupid, off-topic, inflaming, illogical, or childish and involve such tactics as extolling the virtues of cars on a motor bike forum, regaling indifferent members with stories of their bodged DIY and boasting of their retirement whilst keeping under wraps the legal reasons why.
Weakness: being outwitted or unable to antagonise others.
See andyBeaker on the Bird forum for a prime example."
Too little too late.Hmmm......

Sometimes it's just best to,accept a defeat and move on graciously rather than fight a lost cause.....
The battery was fine - spun it over like a demon - but I have done my usual thing and fitted a bigger battery (as I have done before) and now all seems well... On another site some years ago the smaller stock birdie battery was slated as the cause of the problem (deemed less for those who ride with lights-on all the time apparently) so I took their advice and fitted a slightly bigger one which acts as some sort of better buffer for the alternator and it's output... Don't ask me, I am but a humble thrasher; so I've fouled my bike with a 900 Diversion battery as I have done on all 3 previous birds...I haven't reread the thread but if you haven't fitted a new battery as well would seriously consider doing so.......quite possibly the root case of the charging issues.
What about all the existing Bird owners who are waiting for the new Bird ?
( Question side stepped )
Are you not interested in what existing owners/customers are going to look for when they come to replace their Birds ?
( Question again ignored )
