bugger
I'd like to tell you that we're basking in typical NZ sub tropical weather but, we're getting hammered by the remains of Tropical Cyclone Ivy right at this minute and it's bloody horrible:cry:
Here's an extract from the latest news.

Tongariro River has burst its banks in Turangi, forcing more than 100 residents from their homes.
Prolonged heavy rain caused the river to breach its stop banks, causing extensive flooding in the region.
Police said a number of properties had been flooded, with water rising above window sill level, and furniture could be seen floating in the streets.
Evacuated residents were given emergency accommodation at the St John Ambulance Hall in the local marae and in the fire station.
The Search and Rescue co-ordinator in Turangi said the river was flowing in excess of 1000 cubic metres per second, compared to 16 cubic metres per second during normal flow.
MetService said the upper half of the North Island would bear the brunt of the bad weather hitting the country on Sunday.
A front moved up New Zealand overnight, dumping heavy rain from Nelson and Marlborough, through Wellington, the Tararuas and Taranaki.
The Desert Road was closed on Sunday morning after a number of major slips and severe surface flooding.
And hundreds of homes across Auckland have been without power because of the storms.
MetService said as the slow-moving rainband pushes east, it would drench parts of the North Island from Tolaga Bay, through the Bay of Plenty and Coromandel Peninsula, up to Auckland and Northland.
Falls of between 120 and 250 millimetres were predicted.
The Bay of Plenty was expected to get the heaviest falls and it may get further rain and gales from Cyclone Ivy as it passes east of the country.
