Can i be yer manager? I'm good with a camera too.(y)
If you don't mind the smell of sh@t....That is?..:D

Well....only if you're prepared to "come out". It's a showbiz thing, y'see.
And get a proper camera.....not one of those wiggly internal things. Even Channel 4 draws the line at what it will broadcast.

I spent most of the day stripping scooter engines & got absolutely filthy in the process, horrible things to mess around with take twice as long as a normal bike engine :(

At least I now have some more parts for my arty farty projects, still have to degrease & clean everything then some bits will need a rough polish before I can actually use any of it

Absolutely knackered now, had a shower & could easily fall asleep but the mrs just reminded me I need to eat first :)

Two slight problems with that, we don't have one or want one & if we did the missus would hang, draw & quarter me

Today its really hit me how much work I put into my arty stuff for not a lot of return so will probably have a few days off now ;)

If you're going to do a lot of this stuff then it's not a bad investment, even an old second hand one. They do an amazing job of degreasing metal parts... and being the instigator of many a domestic argument.
I know of one guy who is divorced, due in no small way, to using the household one for cleaning old bike bits.... His mistake was admitting that he did it.

A) get one. End of
B) wait until she is out. It's worked for me in the past but I will admit the nerves did get frayed a bit in case she came back

My day was rubbish as my mum has been without central heating for five days - why does heating always pack up in the winter?

A fourth different engineer (one who actually had some knowledge of underfloor heating) attended today and has, I believe, finally identified the issue - a faulty thermostatic blending valve.

He has ordered the part and is like a coiled spring ready to return and fit it.

Why do heating parts always have to be ordered toward the end of the week adding at least another two days to the repair process?

Why do old people insist on chattering incessantly to workmen instead of letting them get on with their job?

Why did the engineer get offered a chocolate HobNob while I was only offered a plain digestive (which I prefer, but that's not the point).

Why?

WHY??

Nowhere to put one except up the shed & even then space is tight + no water or drain up there, I did think of making myself another parts washer but again space is at a premium

My day wasn’t bad. Sky installed today and internet finally activated (a day late) but the range of the router is shite because most of the the house is 120 years old so has proper walls and not paper mache like our last two. Sky sending us a beefed up router next Monday (y)

Me bikes were delivered today so everything is now here. I hope.
