What the ? How Was Your Day?

Dark Angel

Still kickin' it!
How was my day?

Beautiful. :D

A nice beginning to the day and a nice, competitive end to the “telly evening” with Mrs DA – which I won 7-5 ("Only Connect", presented by Victoria Coren Mitchell: she's a big, strong girl and that's a fact! o_O).

“Old Tom” beer to whet me whistle, Thai spicy rice with Chicken for tea and now withdrawn to me den with voddy/orange/ice. Crude, but effective. Also scoffing Ritz biscuits. :D

Ain’t life grand? :applaudit:

Five hours????
Don't ask.

A combination of appalling workmanship by the 'professional kitchen fitters' that installed the kitchen in 2014 (they just hadn't bothered doing the job properly, just slung it in and also no thought as to how it would be unplugged in the future, apparently having the plug behind a kitchen unit with no access is ok in their parallel universe), an instruction manual that was totally 100% useless and the fact that the item I so carefully sourced with exactly the same manufacturer and model number as the one that came out in the misguided expectation of an easy swap over being totally different.

The stupid thing is that the quality and design of the numerous parts required to fit the unit were actually very, very good when I finally managed to work out what they were and where they went. The end result was very slick. A decent instruction manual would have helped.

If you had posted that six moths ago it would be fair comment....this gives a good representation as to the transformation in that period....

Yes... ...and this gives a good representation of your relapse over the next six months.

I’ve just spent 10 minutes on the phone to ebay. I’ve been going through the listings, as you do, just looking at prices, when I came across a listing I’d seen a few days earlier but for a different seller. Not only that but this “seller” had several hundred expensive cars, boats, caravans, bikes and suchlike all with very low start prices and low buy it now prices. Each time I’ve seen the listings I’ve “watched” a couple only to see them disappear the next day. I wonder how many people have gone down the buy it now route and got scammed so far?
