No ULEZ charge due for this vehicle
This vehicle meets the emission standards for ULEZ so you don't have to pay this charge when driving within the zone.

No LEZ charge due for this vehicle
The LEZ is different from the ULEZ - it doesn't apply to cars and motorbikes. This vehicle either meets the required emission standards, is exempt from or not affected by the scheme, or is subject to a 100% discount.

And that's the ASTRA :)

ULEZ charge applies to this vehicle
Daily charge: £12.50

Why: This could be because the vehicle’s details as registered with us show it doesn’t meet the required ULEZ standards OR it's registered outside the UK and we don't hold any details for it.

If you believe your vehicle meets the standards:

Until we confirm that your vehicle meets the emissions standards, you need to pay the daily ULEZ charge whenever you drive within the zone.

The checker ONLY checks the emissions standard of the vehicle. To check if a discount or exemption applies to your vehicle - and whether you need to pay the charge - go to Pay to drive in London.

There are no emissions figures for the blackbird, see the log book - it's blank for that bit.

I always though motorcycles were exempt from emissions testing?

I've not read the rules on the charges, but presume they're written to say it must have recorded/registered emissions below a certain level.

Could we argue that we shouldn't pay because the log book is blank the emissions must be zero .....

Seem to recall a news story a while back that all the moped/scooter delivery folks in London were complaining that they'd all have to pay it!

Seems the blackbird (injection/cat) models may not have to pay it.

To avoid, the requirement is nox of 0.15 or less, the 'bird is 0.075 .... But you have to get Honda to supply you with that in writing and then provide that evidence to TfL.

As it's not on the log book you have to prove it, for each & every individual bike!

Come on you Hatters
Or there’s one test station in London that can take an actual reading of you’re Bikes emmisions and provide a certificate that will exempt that bike. About £170 iirc.

If Honda hasn't supplied a Certificate of Conformity on your bike before its free but if they have
there will be a charge.

I might be mistaken but I thought the ins and outs of how Blackbirds are affected was covered in depth in an earlier thread?

You'll have to excuse Beaker- he is so far up his own bottom that he struggles to see a differently coloured word, that indicates that it is a hyperlink. Despite hyperlinks being explained to him quite recently;)
