Got a letter two weeks ago arranging a telephone appointment at 4.45 today about Bev’s shoulders.
Bastard never rang so we rang them, gave them the reference number “ooh, I can’t find it”
Bloody Hospitals are getting worse.

its been bloody useless since the hospitals basically became privately run entities that wont talk to each other

My doc cant get my previous medical records from before I moved here, the 3 hospitals in the area don't talk to each other so if I get treatment at one I have to try to remember what and when in case I end up in a different one, all this despite being on the same nhs number I have had since birth, a typical excuse is "we cant access their records" How long before some idiot gives me diclofenac which I am allergic to

It gets worse, Bev rang the hospital, apparently the phone call is supposed to be with a physiotherapist, wtf good will that do, she needs two new Shoulders.
She is just on the phone to Halkamshire to find out if there’s any news on her appointment for botox for her blepharospasm, they have no record of her, our patience is rapidly running out now.

Without diclofenac my life is one huge migraine lol.

Mr B has been having issues with shoulder/neck pain in recent months, nerve conductivity test booked in for Monday after video consultation with GP three weeks ago. No complaints on that, far from it.

I had a pre-assessment appointment to review my Cotes before an appointment with a consultant just before Covid-19 kicked off, consultation cancelled due to Covid-1. Still waiting to see consultant about twenty months later. Sh#t happens, other people have more pressing needs than me.

I appreciate that but Bev has been fobbed off by her GP (let’s get your eyes sorted then worry about your shoulders) when it turns out her shoulders are bone on bone & need replacing, she hasn’t been able to drive for over a year because of her eyes & shoulders, she can not go out on her own as she can only see for seconds at a time, she has nearly set fire to the kitchen on a couple of occasions, she is in constant agony & can’t sleep, all whilst being pissed about by the Hospitals.

I know mate, Bev was sobbing down the phone & the woman on the other end came across as sympathetic & promised she’d ring Bev back, 16.00 I told Bev to ring back & make a nuisance of herself, ever the optimist she was confident she would ring back as promised, I’ve told her we’ll go to Hallamshire & sit down at the entrance to the eye dept until they sort it out.
