Not been around for a while, plus the 'bird has been poorly.

I've peeked in from time to time to see how things were!!!!

Anyway, the 'bird is almost ready to roll again following a long put off refurb.

Made a quick visit this afternoon to JAWS in Leigh, left with new screen and a carbon fibre hugger.

Anyway, time to read and catch up with what's new

Thanks guys.

Been a hectic few years, the 'bird has sat folornly in the garage. Lots going on but no time/funds to sort it.

The loom fix had lasted a long time but finally spiked the ECU.

Before "mothballing" I'd bought an ECU & chips off taffy. Plus a set of downpipes.

I know the EFI downpipes are supposed to be good, but mine have developed a leak somewhere between the two box sections under the sump.

So ..... Replaced main wiring loom, secondary loom, radiator, reg/rec, generator, powder coated sub frame.

Jobs to finish, remove radiator and replace downpipes, front wheel bearings and go over/fettle everything before MOT.

Might check the valve clearances while I'm I'm in there doing the exhaust, after all it's at 72,000 miles.

Now the embarrassing bit ....... I'd carefully put the replacement ECU in the garage and the chips very carefully wrapped in tape and into a plastic bag.

I then put the plastic bag in a safe place.......... now I've found the safe place I'm back in business. Almost thought I might have to end up paying silly money to Mr Honda!!!!
