Hi everyone, just joined as I’ve just bought myself a ‘bird’. It’s a non runner (apparently electrical but we’ll see). Pick it up Friday so I’m relying on you guys if there’s any common foibles that I need to look into before completely dismantling the whole thing only to find there is a common little nugget I could have tried like maybe while turning ignition key, always have your index finger in the opposite ear while standing on one leg kind of scenario.

It also depends which finger is in the ear as you turn on the dead ignition switch buggered by rotting wires here, there and everywhere. Carbed Birds should be titanium aka beige, otherwise FI Birds should be blue, the fastest colour.

Welcome to the madhouse/fount of knowledge, delete as desired (y)

The clue is in the name.....BLACKbird.
Red is slow.
Blue is gay.
Titanium is brown, like poo.

Black is for those who couldn't afford to buy a colour
Red is slow.
Blue is best.
Titanium is beige..... the colour of choice for the elderly
Corrected version.

And don't forget silver..... or as it's better known....Primer Silver. These are the ones that the QC dept. missed.

It is black but I could add some ‘go-faster stripes’. That should work right?
Or maybe it was another colour originally and went so fast the colour came off in the turbulent air and I’m left with the black undercoat.

No such thing as turbulent air around the Bird (unless it's caused by the fat bastid on it) as it's the worlds most streamlined production bike.

Unlike that fugly jellymould made by Suzuki. ;)

It's sad that you are jealous.

You should have bought the right colour bike in the first place.:p:sisi1

Why..? He hasn't asked for help.....yet.
The reason I moved it is information that should be in the Help section for sponsor access only has inevitably appeared.

I see someone has moved it back.

I really couldn’t care less.
