The National Motorcycle museum hasnt been able to reopen because they re stuffed for money are having a raffle to win a motorcycle to try and raise
funds to re-open. I think it would be a shame to lose it and if you re reading this you probably wouldnt mind winning another bike so details are

I was interested but then saw the 3rd prize which, knowing my luck, I could win. Having refurbed one of the restaurants he used to run I wouldn't eat a bag of crisps in his restaurant - even if I'd bought my own! It took my contractors 3 weeks to clean it before we then threw everything away.

I am not sure about this, as much as I want to see the museum up & running again it is a private business that should be taking its chances like everyone else ! I suppose a raffle is one way of doing it but don't be fooled the aim must be to make a bucket load of cash that will partly go to supporting the other businesses

This is an urgent appeal concerning our plans for how and when we might be able to reopen, and the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on our business.

Many visitors will not realize that the National Motorcycle Museum receives no external funding whatsoever. This means that, not only do we rely on visitors to the museum, but mainly on the income from our conference business and two sister hotels.

Everyone knows that hospitality and leisure has been one of the worst hit sectors, and we don’t know when our National Conference Centre, Manor Hotel Meriden, and Windmill Village Hotel Coventry will be able to reopen fully, let alone trade profitably.

Therefore, the museum is launching an appeal which gives people the chance to help us raise the £500,000 required in two different ways.

Maybe I am wrong but I read that as 4 businesses trading as one so am not 100% sure raffle money will go only to the museum, still its a good gamble if that's your thing but I dont think its a charity as some people seem to do

The money is going to the museum.. Not the other way round
Even if it went to the group as a whole that is ok by me as the group as a whole keeps the museum going
