Must admit, I don't like mine either. First had them in a couple of Ford SUVs when Mrs P and me were in the States in 2017. I liked the novelty but found I became overly reliant on the camera instead of looking over my shoulder and checking the mirrors. I use mine in the BM, but only as a last resort; haven't worked out how to turn it off yet.
If you press the ‘park’ button on the central console you get an overhead shot which is really useful as well as the rear view camera.

Assuming you specced the car properly that is.

Reversing into a parking spot in ASDA, got half way in when suddenly reversing sensors started going berserk, slammed the brakes on, still couldn’t see any obstruction through the back window, I got out to have a look & there was a fat dickhead on. Small mobilty scooter, he’d come off the pavement to try to beat me, he glared at me & had the cheek to tell me to fuck off, I think he was actually after a claim but was pissed off as his plan didn’t work, normally the mobility scooters park obstructing the doors, I told him if he didn’t move it he would be walking home as his scooter would be on ASDA roof.
Why exactly were you using a disabled bay clearly needed for someone on a mobility scooter?

Joking aside, it is looking likely that Bev will be getting a disability sticker due to being functionally blind, if she does we still won’t take up disabled bays.
