Got the 'Bird!!

Thanks for all the advice over the last month.

I took delivery of a 1999 T candy red Blackbird this am
and concur with all the comments made in thread "Should I Buy"

It is a fantastic ride, never have I felt so satisfied after the 1st ride on a new bike.

Anybody else thinking about buying a Blackbird, STOP THINKING, go out and buy one!!!!!!

Mind you, 1st time out today on damp roads, found it a bit easy to spin the rear (Bridgestone BT020's) I think I am going to have to re-calibrate my right hand.

Be careful out there!!

Never have I felt the need to speed, the way the Blackbird gets there is a fix all on its own!!!

I understand exactly what you mean, caution is a virtue, I am sure BlackBirds can and do "bite"
