Have wondered in the past if that motor would be good in a kit car

No, way to sluggish for a KC. And it wouldn’t fit. KC chassis are designed for specific engine configurations and they don’t stand messing around with.

As silly as it sounds its worth near the asking price to break it, just a motor that turns over freely is the best part of a grand nowadays and anything else you can sell is profit

No feedback as a seller - not too surprising with his appalling grammar

What's stopping you? Crack on!
I would love to.. seriously....
Two things completely banjaxing me

I have a garage and workshop that is full of stuff, some of which is not mine, and short of having a big row with a family member I cannot get it shifted
Age

Though honest truth If I had the room the age thing would not stop me.. Falling out with a close family member does

Here's mine , I have owned it since 1994 and all the panels and paint are original....i'm just about to strip it down for a frame repair, its gone rusty as its a 1982 UK modelView attachment 54918
That's a tidy looking bike. (y)

Are you on one of the islands.?
Only asking as we're contemplating a move to South Uist and I gather the salt air is pretty aggressive up there.!

Yes, cheers its not bad is it

I'm on one of the Inner Hebridies, first winter we were here the condensation was terrible and the bike had a white deposit from the sea air on the polished cases. Took a lot of polishing to get it off but sorted now as there's a big Mistsubishi dehumidifier and the steading is weather and air sealed.

Bear in mind, that there's very limited biking in the Uists , if you want a long run it involves a Calmac ferry and a long voyage. Our island is an hour from Oban so not too bad but there's no lazy evening runs as one eye is always on the clock for the last ferry time. Love it here though.

I'm from Argyll originally but currently living on the south coast, so it's going to be a bit limiting compared to what I'm used to..! Might not get past 3rd on the Bird, as Slim63 mentioned above.

Still, the roads that there are up there are by and large pretty decent tarmac.

There's some great runs here as you will well know but on the mainland always....on here if I get up to 45 on the B class main road i'm doing well . You'll be coming home , that's always a nice thing and the Outer Isles are lovely, I loved Harris and Lewis when we went in the car 5 years ago.
