Without going into details I have been in dispute with a retailer over repairs needed to electrical equipment that was going to cost me around £2000.

Having been through the various processes to try and get this resolved to my satisfaction I eventually wrote to the Managing Director.

He was appalled at what had happened and the way it had been dealt with. Repairs have now been completed to my satisfaction without any cost to me.

Dont be scared to go right to the top….these people will never know everything that is going on in their organisation and generally expect the highest level of customer care from their people.

I once did that with 'Currys' over a tv repair.
The unit came back with a chip in the screen, this is after they had it for around 6 weeks.
A stern letter sent straight to the MD...Employees jumping through hoops after that.(y)

We had it with Hallamshire Hospital, several last minute phone calls cancelling Bev’s appointments then she gets put to the back of the list, no joy from the Office so I found the number for a complaints site called pals, emailed them, two days later same woman who had been cancelling the appointments rings & tells Bev her appointment is 2nd September (tomorrow) at 9.30 I was nearly sick with how syrupy she was being, amazing what a bollocking can achieve.
