Glad the weekends over

Normally, I'd be happy to extend the weekend but this last one? I'm glad it's over.

Friday on way home from work, after a spirited ride out of Peterborough on the Bird, along the parkways, I came to a roundabout around 5 miles from home & the bike just didn't feel right. Didn't want to lean over, wasn't happy turning. The culpret was a small tear in the middle of the tread in my rear tyre. 45 minutes later the RAC turn up, patch the tyre with instructions to ride no fastre than 40mph. Was feeling a bit pissed off, thinking ?xxx for a new tyre but after 7000 miles on my existing one, I wasn't too bad, until a little f**ker on a 125 scooter went flying past. :xm

Saturday on way home from Brothers birthday BBQ with Mrs Lee337 driving & my parents in the back we came to some traffic lights & indicated to turn right. Just as we were about to turn, a 125 2-stroke came flying past us on the O/S barely missing the door mirror, followed 3-5 seconds later by a crunch. I look out the window to see a biker come flying past me, minus bike. I got out to make sure he was at least conscious, which he was while the passenger of the car following the two bikes got out & started threatening me. I backed off & waited for the police. While I'm waiting, the car with the threatening passenger leaves the scene, followed by the bike that hit us. the other bike never stopped. By the time the police arrived, there was the injured biker, his parents, a few friends (who all appeared in seperate cars after the first one had left). Luckily, there was an independant witness who saw the whole thing unfold in front of him.

Sunday morning, while it was pissing down outside, Mrs Lee337 calls me from upstairs. Thinking my luck was about to change, I stuck my head round the bottom of the stairs, to be told there's water pouring through the bathroom ceiling. :bang:

Today is sunny and dry & I'm sitting at my desk at work knowing my three things have now gone wrong & looking forward to the rest of the week.

Blimey I can see your point. All of these incidents were out of your control..bugger

Kids on scooters really do my head in. :bang: As do a lot of other bikers to be honest. The sunny day brigade really do take the piss sometimes :wank:
