Givi wingrack/indicators?

I’ve got a Givi wingrack and I’ve assembled it with spacers so it clears the standard indicators has anyone shortened their indicators to suit the same? I don’t want the Givi integrated jobbies so wondered what others have done / bought, would like to take the spacers out to make the whole plot slimmer, any thoughts as in modification or replacements.

I have the later style indicators, they fit the wingrack, when I had one, with no mods.

That’s my query, I don’t want to leave the wingrack on, just fit as and when needed with standard indicators left in place but standard indicators seem to stick out too far.
Do you mean later indicators are shorter, if so what year were they introduced? Or are you talking about indicators that require the wingrack left on?

I fitted similar to these, smaller, brighter and as cheap as chips, easy swap out.

The later ones fit without shortening and stay on when you take the wingrack off.

If you are going to be taking off and putting on the wingrack regularly, why don't you look at the SW Motech quicklock system. Much more betterer for that.

Thanks for the replies chaps, that’s certainly given me some avenues of enquiry :).

Edited especially for Andrew.

Are these later ones the same as Karen sells on Jaws website?
They look the same. 50mm stem length, no dimensions though as to the light housing length.

Just take the rubber bits off the standard ones, they fit fine :)

Thanks Sera I didn’t know that was an option, I was just looking at your bike, (nice job by the way), I noticed you have the old style indicators on but shorter, did you take off the rubbers yourself and if so is it much of a faff?

Yep takes about 5 minutes.

Remove the indicators, theres a philips head screw down the same hole as the wire comes out of. You can't see it, just stick a screwdriver in there and you'll find it.

Take it out and the rubber comes right off.

How did you attach the indicators? I took the rubbers off which was super easy after reading your post.... the only problem is there is no way to attach the indicators back to the bike
