Front Fender options ?

Hi - I was wondering what options people have come up with for sorting out marked front mudgards ? My fibre oopBird is very clean but there are some chips and marks on the fender which I can't polish out. I know the fender takes the brunt of minor paint damage but other than changing it / buying a carbon fibre replacement / or spraying (not good idea as it's a flecked black metalic model) - I was wondering what can be done on the cheap.
I did wonder if there are any colour coded "Decal" strips / stripes etc that can be bought - that don't look tacky.
Any ideas out there ?

Personally I managed to spray mine (also a black one). A local body shop matched the colour with a computerised analyser thingy, and mixed the paint accordingly, The result was a perfect match @tu*.
