good looking AND modest
well don't be, just "done" the "Rider skills day" with Bloxwich Police Mc club, and got a "certificate" to prove it,
what a GREAT day Ive had, the best days riding Ive EVER had,
smutty Sanchez has certainly "got a point" concerning "track days"and their worth,
during the day just two riders left the track, both their bikes sustaining little or no damage,{neither were Birds} the safety vehicles remained un used all day,
a bit long winded, but arnt I always,???
started the day meeting members of "the Matlock Mafia" at McDonald's, Bert rolled in late as per,!! on to fuel up and entered the "location wot we woz going round" in time for the briefing, we were put into three main groups according to experience/lack of, the novice group was further divided to allow Approximately a 2 to 1 ratio, some instructors had more pupils some less, each group then took it in turns on track, advise being given by the instructors as and if needed, the more experienced groups were allowed a little "head" but were interspersed with instructors, the day continued along these lines,
I am a little bit "chuffed" at beginning in the "novice" group, never having ridden on a track before, to be told my riding had improved enough to be "promoted" to the intermediate group, allowing me a little more leeway as to speed, and you all may be surprised to know that Bert's "old Pink" leathers actually overtook Bert TWICE, :f though the first time I "over cooked it" and had to "run off" the track as I wasn't confident enough at that time to "stick with it" :bang:
I would REALLY recommend everyone "do" a training day,
you all might ask Murt what was the biggest "hook" of the day was, nice one Bert,
Tootieflutie ended the day as NOT the slowest on circuit,
Cyclops finally "came out" and made my day by turning up in PINK leathers that over shadowed my own, "thanks Ian"
I would Thoroughly recommend you all do at least one "skills day" it IS worth it,
thanks to Buzz and all that organised it today,
