At a guess I'd have thought a good starting place might be RAC or AA for info?

As the 'bird can get an exemption thingy for London maybe there's a chance for French cities.

They are required. Easy to get all you need to do is take a picture of your log book and upload it. Pay your few euro's and about 2 weeks later it arrives . stick it on your screen and your good for 3 years I believe.
My 96 carbie is too old to need one but would be banned from entering Paris ect.
It's all on the french website.
HTH.

Thanks.
I've had a quick look on my mobile (I probably need to do it via PC), but I'm not sure if it's certain cities, all cities, certain cities at certain times, all cities at all times, all regions, all regions at certain times, certain regions at all times.:nusenuse::nut::sconf::shot::elboinas::emule:

Best thing to do is get one then your covered it applies to certain cities but is required by law for visiting vehicles.
Really it's no harder than getting an old tax.disk.

One tip.
When you take the picture of your logbook reduce the file size. If it is too big your application wont be valid. It does say the maximum file size. If its all ok you will recieve a confirmation via email. And then your "cirte de aire" will follow in the post. I have done a few now and it's pretty straightforward.

Yeah, I'll be getting one. I just want to know where I'm not allowed to go.
The 'Bird will be Crit Air class 4, which is practically the lowest class.
I expect I won't see many French cities or regions.
