:h Planning tour around France back end of May. Only concern is availabillity of Petrol on Sundays along west coast?

I'm sure may have experience of this and I would like your advice. I've heard that you can buy fuel cards (supermarket types) but where from and how you load them I have no idea!

This will be my first long tour and the only concern is fuel, fuel & fuel

Thanks, please help me to avoid %$fan on my second day of nine

In many petrol stations you can use the automated pump - translate: you pay directly at the pump with your credit card, sorted!

As previously said most petrol stations have an automated pump but you will find that petrol stations at supermarkets are probably shut on Sunday. If really stuck then at or near autoroutes are normally open.
Have not really had a problem, if really concerned then refill when tank half full and should be okay.

 Thanks for the replies, do the pumps accept UK credit cards? or are they specific to the station chain? i.e. Elf fuel etc
