Thanks Me!

I think the colour suits it better than the original red...... :whi5tl: I'm happy how it turned out considering its a rattle can job I later lacquered over

I didn't think to get pics of the bars, these were just taken when I stopped for a smoke on my travels, I can get some specific pics later on if you want ?

Does look good. I'm tempted to do mine as my back is knackered. If you get chance and are able to do a couple of pics from the F&R with the bars jinx couple of angles I'd be grateful. Comfort level massively improved or marginally ?

No problem I will get some pics later today if I get the chance

On this conversion bought second hand from Jaws on here, the bars supplied are low rise renthal type, I could get them fitted no problem but the position wasn't comfortable for me so I angled them forward/up a little & they are a great improvement over stock now ...... because of the position I put them in I had to trim the screen to get clearance for the master cylinders & the levers are a little close to the mirrors & I had to angle them down a little

My problems are with my shoulders & neck (old injury) its made the bike much more comfortable to ride although I now get a lower back ache after a long ride I think ideally for me an inch higher & slightly further back would be perfect for me but I have not yet looked if could get clearance without trimming the fairing itself

I don't know if the bars supplied are what would come with a new kit or just what Jaws had kicking around

Ps if you are anywhere near me you are welcome to give it a try

Hope it helps

Am I right in saying thats not the stock top yoke you've got on there ? If so, I would say thats not the current Jaws conversion that is available.

Spot on, I believe its the original conversion that Jaws had kicking around & sold me a few months ago, works just fine for me :-0)

I only mentioned it because if Me! is thinking about getting the conversion , he may wonder why the one he gets is not the same as yours. P. S. You seem to have rather a large amount of stanchion protruding through the yoke , have you dropped the front end a tad ?

That'll be the bit of the fork that the standard bars normally clamp on.

Spot on that man @tu*

Measured so there is exactly the same amount of fork through the yokes as there would be with the stock bars on & also I have taken into account the slight difference in depth between the stock yoke & the current one :-0)

Yep.. it was the very first incarnation of the kit.. A complete yoke replacement.
Subsequently I went to the converter kit that retains the original top yoke and is fitted where the bars go.. much easier to fit @tu*
