Gypsy's [romany's] are clean honourable people who keep to themselves & are self funding by doing hard work that others don't want, they don't claim benefits, but because their lifestyle dictates that to earn money they need to travel anybody who takes to this lifestyle is labelled a gypsy/gyppo but sadly the modern day traveller finds it easier to steal to make a living but unfortunately they never seem to be able to steal a bar of soap or a box of washing powder, so if a group of travellers camps nearby & suddenly your garage/house etc get broken into or your car/bike gets nicked it ain't the Gypsy's its the travellers
