Sent me an email today explaining there has been an incident with my parcel & it is damaged beyond repair, therefore they are unable to deliver & suggest I forward this info to the relevant seller.
It's a feckin high impact socket set FFS!
How is high tensile steel damaged beyond repair? I smell a rat.

Maybe I should ask for a piccy?

I had an email from Evri to tell me of a delayed package, follow the link etc.

I don’t have anything due to come to me so I deleted.

I then had a text advising of a parcel needing to be signed for via Royal Mail. Then 2 more emails saying similar. Then the postman arrived and simply posted it in my letterbox, a very small tyre depth gauge that had cost me £2.29 on eBay.

I despair these days, spam messages, and then 3 messages for something that needed none really.

I sent a set of golf clubs to,a friend in Bournemouth a few weeks ago…..he got a message saying they had been delivered…which was an achievement as there was nobody home and his place is accessed via electric gates.

He asked his neighbour to have a look and he discovered the box had just been launched over the gate.

Has anybody read "the contract"
How exactly are they supposed to deliver - to the gate, the garden, the front door, into your hand???

I’m sure it doesn’t say ‘lob it over the gate’ especially when the insurance cover was ‘up to £1000’:smiley_1140:

That's illegal as minimum wage is 10.42 / hour
I believe they also get a set amount per parcel per day but it doesn’t kick in till they’ve delivered so many parcels, there is a dedicated facebook page about Evri complaints & some of the horror stories from the drivers are unbelievable.
