OK, I’ve got to ask, what’s a living wake when it’s at home? I thought you have a wake when they’re dead.

Jim, a good and close friend for going on 40 years, is on his last legs.. He could 'go' at any moment....
Always lived life fully ( recently broke in to films and on his second film got in the credits ) he wants to have a last big party before he pops his clogs..

Give you an idea... He wants to be cremated and his ashes spread on the beach at Benidorm..
When asked why, he said "with luck a fit bird will sit on my face" !!!!!

There's not much on Uist...! Luckily I stayed with friends who had a plentiful supply of malts (plus we took a couple of bottles).

Best eateries (especially if you like your seafood) are:

I agree cancer is horrible having lost my Husband(62)to a blood clot caused by his cancer, my brother in law(65) a cousin (42) and a department head where I used to work only 42 . luckily I managed to get the better of it 9 years ago.
