Euro size convertions

Hi, Folks.
Does anyone know the relationship (if there is one) between good old English sizes and these Euro thingies ?

In particular : what size would a Euro 56 jacket be ?

What size would Euro 54 jeans be ? ( I susspect this could be a missprint - But I could be wrong !)

56 Eurothingie jacket will be a tad over 41 up to 46 UK (varies enourmously depending whos chart you look at) rule of thumb add 10 to UK size


none of the charts I have show jeans sizes below 61 euro (24 UK) so is probably a missprint

According to Michelin green guide to Brittany...

Euro 56=48 in GB, 46 in USA
Euro 54=44 in GB, 44 in USA

I just knew that book would come in useful.

Who ate all the pies?
