Thanks for info, I'm sure all will be pleased with the piccys.
How far away is the nearest Tesco's super for brekky.

Does the rope slide go through the caravan or 4x4.

Er... them porta loos I spy on the previous photo's.

Any pubs on the way to the chippy.... walk,drink,eat,drink,crawl..

Anyone know who the other group using the site at the same time as us might be....

Not sure but I think there is a Tesco's on tuther side of town :dunno: not walking distance anyway.

Rope slide, if you let go just at the right time you just might make it

Porta loos (only for last w/end) paid for extra by the club that had just left that morning.

Might have been 1 or 2 pubs on way to chippy.

The group thats on the same w/end I forgot thier name (landlady told me as well) apparently are good bunch/laff, landlady said we should fit in well with them.

I am sure others will be there to help out if required ( not wanting to sound patronising ) h1d1ng2

Its not patronising at all :k . I'm am quite aware of my limitations once off proper roads, and any help will be gladly accepted!! (or I'll leave it in the car park!!)

The place I used to marshal at during TT meant I had to park in a field - fine when dry, but last year it was muddy, and every day I parked at the side of the road and someone with longer legs rode the bike in for me then back out after racing!!!

Makes me feel a bit silly, but at the end of the day I'd rather feel silly than fall off it just cos I was too embarrassed to ask for help!!! fl4g71

Don't worry, I'll bring some, but in mud all that happens is that the heel sinks and you still have short legs - but with a ground anchor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :neenaw:

Well good on ya for accepting the offer.

was at a meet where a female rider refused point blank to have help ( was offered very politely ! ) over some rough wet grass, and all she did was gob off at us. 2 minutes later she gladly recieved help picking her now damaged bike up off the grass after she slipped and it slip down the slope for about 6 ft sh1tehppns.

Never refuse help with a heavy bike!! specially on slippy or off road grounds!!

At the TT I parked the bird nose in to a pavement next to a row of other bikes, but also with a pavement on the left.

When I came to leave there was no way on earth I was confident enough to haul it out (usually much more careful where i park!!) - had to stop some guys who were walking past to ask them to move it out for me!! Fair play to them - didn't give me any stick, were really nice and shifted the bike. Had a chat about why anyone would paint a BBird pink and of we went our separate ways!

I know that I can ride the bike, its only manouvering when off or stopped I struggle; and I've seen short blokes struggle with shifting big bikes too, so never too proud to accept help when offered !!!

PS

She's probably the kind of scary feminist type :)bang: ) that gets upset when doors are held open for her as well as when help with her bike is offered!!!

I asked the same question for Dayglow and got this

Chunky monkey is organising the rideout and is back from holiday tomorrow but the custom at the EOSB is not to be too organised (can you tell?) so i imagine it will be sometime in the morning when everyone is up
:dunno:
