EOSB FINAL DETAILS

Another friend of mine (yes, I have more than 1) swears by an empty margerine/ice cream tub, which has the advantage of a lid and is cheaper and easier to carry than a bucket. When I was a kid, it was a spade and a dock leaf when camping, but it's come a long way since then.

For blokes a funnel and hose so you dont have to get up in the night.

By the way which hand do you use.

Options

There's always this option...

http://www.benefitsnowshop.co.uk/shop/detail/864.htm

Or here....

http://www.aidmobility.co.uk/acatalog/Toileting_Aids.html?gclid=CLmQ7LCzzoYCFR1KEAodsyGX6A

Or these....

http://www.mobilitysouthwest.co.uk/subprod/urine-bottles-travel-urinals-0000648.aspx

Or if you know a friendly nurse she might be able to get one!

A gang of us went on a boozy day out a few years ago on a bleedin' COACH!! We took a couple of these bottles and just emptied them out of the window!

Seriously though - they would provide a welcome solution in the middle of the night, epecially for the girlies.

Really need a loo of some sort for the lassies. sh1tehppns

Ok its not a 24 hour loo facility... what are the opening hours for the loo/shower block.

If it's of any help 'silver' we called in today as we was near and quizzed some bikers (well Harley riders) just leaving after a w/ends rally

they said ;
Pub closed at 2am opened for breakfast at 8.30am 'so that makes the W/C situation look a lot better''
they also said 'food was OK but breakfast not so good?

Some other things I noticed (that might be of some help?)
Petrol station at bottom of drive to pub (venue).
No take-aways or food outlets within walking distance although there is a chippy about 3-4 mins ride away on the road into Ripley.
There is a chemical disposable point on site.
The loo's (gents) looked clean & new'ish but limited to just 1 shitter (+ urinals) 3 in ladies.
I could'nt find the showers though?
An interesting rope slide that may prove to be popular when drunk  .
The pub dog that will eat your snap & rubbish if left out.
A long list of people barred from the pub b0x1
Sheep, 'OK there then Stan'' w4lc0m3 in the hillsides.
The approach to the camping field may be slippy/muddy if wet (don't bother polishing ur bike in other words)
Overall the the pub/camping field looked quite nice.
If that's of any help :dunno:

What I meant was, you can't build stuff like that and it be in use, what with the building inspectorate dictatorship we live under.

A bit like this.

It should be OK as long as it's not chucking it down (it doesn't normally at the EOSB)
could always leave it in the car park that is insight and close by.

Thanks for info, I'm sure all will be pleased with the piccys.
How far away is the nearest Tesco's super for brekky.

Does the rope slide go through the caravan or 4x4.

Er... them porta loos I spy on the previous photo's.

Any pubs on the way to the chippy.... walk,drink,eat,drink,crawl..

Anyone know who the other group using the site at the same time as us might be....
