EOSB FINAL DETAILS

MAN on the PAN
The "end of season bash" will be held at Lumb Farm

Maps and details on how to get there are on their website
http://www.lumbfarm.com/

Dates will be Friday 15th / 16th /17th September

Payment can be made on the day of arrival for those camping and no charge for those JUST attending the rideout but of course a donation to Clic will not be refused

As we will be using the Lumb farm for food and something they call alcohol the camping is free but they do ask for a contribution towards the water rates which will be approx ?2 per head for use of the showers etc
There are NO 24 hr toilets but i am looking into how much it is to hire a toilet for the weekend

I will be there from about 4pm Friday afternoon as will a few others

Chunky Monkey will be leading a rideout into the Peak District on Sat

If there is enough demand another will be sorted out for the Sunday but normally peeps just leisurely pack up and head off home late morning

There will be another group there over the weekend but it is a big site and we will have an area to ourselves .

The landlady has suggested that the other group may have organized some entertainment ( Band ?) and not to be surprised if we get invited so i have suggested that a charge of ?5 per head for the weekend to include the use of the showers and possibly a contribution towards the other groups costs (should we get invited) with any monies left over to be donated to Clic Sargent
The Eosb is traditionally more of a chill out and go with the flow event and basically have a bleedin good laugh with a bunch of weirdos and misfits ie forum members

Excellent.

If "Chunky Monkey will be leading a rideout into the Peak District on Sat "

who's going to lead em back man8um

Both of us are close enough to handle any delivery of heavy items you want delivering to the EOSB I think, just as per JAWS at the May Bash.

Well I'm offering my services anyway .

I've got a Whiz for these occasions. Can never be arsed to bung clothes on in the night or first thing in the morning and half pint plastics just don't have the requisite capacity, so the answer was 'The Whiz' and an empty bottle with a scew-top lid.

Loos

Does the farm have a disposal point for chemical toilets ?
It would be cheaper to buy a 2nd hand toilet tent and portapottie or two, and leave them behind after the weekend.

And remember sh1tehppns so don't volunteer to empty them

I had originally thought of heading for Castleton for a spot of lunch etc, but this will depend on the weather....if any of you have any preferences just let me know and i`ll try to fit in the requests,,
I`ll check in from time to time, as i`m in Sydney Australia at the moment, but will be back in time for the weekend of the bash..
regards
Mark ( chunks).
