Been back about 20 minutes, sitting with a cup of tea before putting away the Taj Mahal and its contents.

What a great weekend. Plenty of piccies to follow of our champion eaters covered in jelly and cream and our almost champion drinker with her 'blown seal' effect.

My wigs!!!!!!!!! Wow, Dayglow looks good in a dayglow wig!

Stunning bash guys, Smix and my turn next for an Early B.I.R.D. Bash (hopefully aided by any other fairly locals (Yoshi?))
Hope to see some of you next weekend at my party. More details later.

and who ever else i'm bound to have missed.

The venue was FANTASTIC with everything you'd need from 8am full English breakfast, evening meals, good beer, showers, squash courts, electric atmosphere and right near some of the UK's best biking roads.

I cannot put into words just how much fun we've had this weekend, so so glad we went.
Feast ya eyes over some of the pics, everything from greasy bikers dancing to 'ABBA' to Robbo's new Mrs looking like he's towed her all the way to the bash on a rope.

Just pissed myself laffing at some of those pics....

Eddie, Mark, & Shaun, thanks for a brilliant weekend... Jan & I are bloody glad we came now, as everyone else has said... Good ride, good friends, and effing good fun...

The ride out was brilliant.. Havent gone so quick for ages (the wrist is a bit tender now, but well worth it ) Had fun keeping up with Mark, Shaun, Buzz(Allan), and IanRobbo....

Dont think Smix will want to be on the pillion at high speed again for a while...LOL Those were big breaths (yes I mean breaths !!!) she was taking when we stopped...LOL....

I must admit to singing myself hoarse with the rest of em & the band, who were brilliant.. Glam rock is alive & kicking in Derbyshire....

Lovely to finally meet Smix, and to see BOTS & mrs BOTS again, seems a long time since the Manchester egg run...And lovely to meet Richards new love, Helen (What a catch )

Rhino, I reckon if Emma ever finds out who the totty with the red curly wig was... your gonads are history mate.

What a venue... Superb facilities, and good beers & food...And as for the Future MCC... What a crowd...brilliant fun, and so welcoming...One of them came up to me at the bar and said... "We've never met a normal riding group who could party & were as much fun as you lot".....I said... "Well, we've had a little practice... It shows dont it ??"

I truly think that was one of (as Gypsy said) life's highlights

thanks all,

Rolfy & Jan

ps.. Smix darling, my Jan wants to know where you got your boots from.. She liked them as much as I did :k Mmmmmmmm !:lick:

what a weekend :yo: :yo: BIG,BIG thanks to eddie for organising the EOSB and the endless suply of sausage sarnies   .i wasn't really sure if i was gonna be able to make it,and after a really shite week...needed to get up there to sort my head out.great to see the peeps i already know...and the ones i hadn't met until friday/sat,what can i say..a laugh a minute!!!!only wished i could have gone on the rideout ON MY BIKE  but went to the denby potteries with derek and bev for an hour or so instead.actually got to erect my tent this time(very kindly donated by cad and sharon  ) without any help!!!!
the bands on both nights were truly fantastic....the way those youngsters played 60's and 70's music, loads of talent there, and the atmosphere the glam rock band generated was absolutely electric.the "fun and games" on sat night...i'll let the piccy's do the talking! thanks to clive and steve for the pressies brought back from the rideout, and the card that nicki gave me by means of a warning for waking her up on friday night/saturday morning  but was repaid in part by yoshi filling my tent with the rubbish bins...ya bastid!!!!!!

loads more happened, but some how the alchohol has a knack of erasing most of it,but will post it as it re-enters my grey matter.

as rhino has already said...great venue, would be a perfect venue for a bash, all the facilities are there.....

nice not to have slobbo sticking his camera in yer face at every oportunity..with diane keeping the leash on!!!!!

roll on 2007

The bestest weekend in a world full of good ones. Cheers to Eddie and the guys for sorting it. Cheers to Future MCC for having us. Cheers to two top bands for entertaining us and cheers to the DJ. Sung myself hoarse and even got the Blah Blah song in  !

Trophys being unpacked (smug mode Mr Rimmer Sir) to be put somewhere nice. Worst thing about riding the furthest is going back. The trifle was really nice.
