I do not repeatedly have a pop! I refer back to your post in the thread on pressure washers where you said that I'd obviously had a look at the prices on ebay and that I shouldn't deny it as I'd look silly. Why in God's boots would I deny something that I'd already openly stated that I'd done?

Same as the smoking in an ambience of fumes; two of us tried to explain it, sometimes in great detail, and you still weren't having it.

Just checked.. two 7kw ( slow charge ) points in Thetford and they are at a Nissan dealership
Proly 15000 cars in the town.
I do not thing the uk is quite ready to go electric yet !

Agreed. But there was a time when there wasn't a petrol station on every corner. Progress takes time.

The buildings I worked at in Central London had charging points in the underground car parks and they were used.

Which is all well and good if you're only running around town. If you have anything more than a short commute, then intended distances have to be considered when buying an electric car. One of the things that upsets the Tesla owners is that when ordering the car with meatier batteries for longer journey capability, the price skyrockets at an alarming rate.
