Just fitted a set of these pads.............thought standard brakes were good..................boy these are FANTASTIC.....!

Also found out that when you are really trying ahrd the brakes make a really nice whisttle noise from speed..............really cool when diving past your friends CBR 600 in to roundabouts.............! :neenaw:

They are the Doggzz Bollocks........

I have just completed a California Superbike School, here in Dubai, and could not have done it without a new set of Pirelli Super Corsa tyres and a full set of EBC HH Sintered brake pads :yo:

The feeling of confidence you get from knowing your bike sticks like shit to the road - and stops on a dime - is just toooooooooooooooo grooooooovy!

And just as a bonus, they are actually very gentle on brake disks too, generally causing far less wear than even the OEM ones ( its cos of the copper bits in them )

They work well on the Thunderace too.
I did notice that they have a lot less 'meat' on them when compared to OEM pads but at ?30 a set I'd rather have the better braking....

Never got on with EBC HH pads on the barge or anything else. I've always found that the EBC's eat away at the rotors. I prefer the Carbon Lorraine SBK (HH equivalent) or Vesrah RJL HHH's (road legal race pads).

Joe, I have no idea wtf you are on about mate..

CL pads are known by everyone in the game as rotor eaters while EBC HH are known for the exact opposite reason.

CL are also known to be pretty poor road use pads as the equivelent to the HH's take time to heat up.. Fine on a track but not so hot when some arse pulls out into your path 20 miles down a motorway.. That time lag might be damned short but it could still mean your death...

Sorry mate.. perhaps you are right and the rest of the world is wrong, but somehow,, well I think I will stick to my own experiences and those of a good many others..

I guess my personal experience counts for sweet FA then.

And I bow to your surperior knowledge obviosuly
But are you actually saying that CL pads are DANGEROUS for road use and could cause death?

er..............obviously I don't know as many people "in the game" as you, but I know quite a few who say the complete opposite to you, but then again they (like me) are clearly not in the know hey?

Obviously not.. same as everyone else who has replied to this thread as well... perhaps all those are wrong as well ?

Or maybe the fact that Nutter ran nothing but HH's and after 35k miles has not had a jot of noticeable wear at all is just wrong ?

Or perhaps a certain members bike on here that now has in excess of 76k miles ( all on hh's apart from the first 8 k miles ) and is still on the oem disks with so little wear as to not be worth mentioning is just winding their speedo fwd to brag about the big miles they have done ! LOL !!

The CL pads that are supposed to be the equivilent of the HH's are, in my opinion, not suitable for road use..they take time to get to working temperature.. As per the CL info sheet in fact.
Make what you like out of it Joe..

You wanna fly in the face of the evidence thats fine Joe.. no worries mate..

We are all entitled to our opinions and anyone says different and I will hit them with a big stick ( classic oximoron that when you think about it ! )

Jaws, personally I don't make decision based on others opinions. There are probably only a dozen peoples opinions I value when it comes to anything bike related and even then I tend to listen to the bullshit & then go and try it (whatever it is) for myself.
I agree, CL's may take longer to warm up, but based on my personal experience they're ultra efficient & provide more initial bite & better feel than pretty much anything I've tried. Maybe it's just that I use my brakes too much, hence they're always warm, but thanks for whack on the head with the stick anyway:-: .

Just thinking about it Joe, are you talking about your experience with them on track ?
If so then I would be daft not to agree with you.. you have far and away more track time ( with up to date kit ) As I have only managed a few odd track days over the last couple of years I am in no position to pass comment on such things. plus for track use where they are constantly ( pretty well ! ) up to working temperature I would have thought they would indeed be hard to beat,,
