Ebay bargains

anyone had a genuine "bargain" off of Ebay?? :dunno:
I ask as I have been using Ebay for a while, and during that time I have "saved" a few bob on odds and sods, ie 2 year old freezer @?49 quid etc, and was just wondering if there were "fantastic" bargains still to be had, :dunno:
today, I actually bid a penny on a "new" alloy wheel for the car and won it!! the down side was the tenner p&p which imho isn't bad, :bow:

I picked up an Acorn Archimedes for about ?10 last year. Not of interest to most people, but a bargain to anyone who always wanted one. The best bargains are normally ending when most bidders are at work/school/asleep. I also use soemthing called Hammersnipe to get my final bid in a few seconds before the end of the auction. It's then too late for a retaliation bid by anyone else

had LOADS OF BARGAINS on e bay, only today i got a BRAND NEW KODAK PHOTO PRINTER PLUS AND BLUE TOOTH DEVICE,which sell seperately at 125 pounds and 39 pounds, and got them both for 60 quid,sealed in original boxes and un touched,good old e bay, shame u cant get the weeks shopping on there %$fan

I got my bike off ebay.

The guy I got it from was looking for a cheaper bike in P/Ex plus the balance in cash. I gave my 91 VFR750 plus ?1300 cash for my 98 carb model Bird. Both bikes were in VGC. We both got what we wanted without making the dealers any waelthier than they already are so that's a result in my book.

Since then I have bought a new baglux tank cover for ?45 which was a good deal and a Givi monorack for ?41 which was not such a good deal - the twat who sold it to me described it to me as "used condition - not mint" and neglected to mention the rust or peeling paintwork.

In conclusion, you have to be careful but you can get some good deals.
