Has anyone had or tried the easy-lifter motorbike attachment? It's a contraption that fits onto a tow ball & lifts the front wheel of the bike for towing. The idea was good but in practice the fixings were too tight for a Blackbird, a problem that I only found out about when it cracked one side of my fairing & punched a hole in the other side :B
http://www.easylifter.co.uk/ seems to have stopped selling this particular motorcycle attachment so I guess they have had others with damage.
When I complained they offered me a refund for the unit (not including my delivery costs) and after some bickering, ?200 towards the repair of the fairing. The hole is too big to repair. A new nosecone is listed at ?425 from Honda :bang: I thought I was on my own & gave in as I couldn't afford the time or money to take the matter to court.
Two questions then:
1. If you, or anyone you know has had some damage from one of these please can you get in touch?
2. Does anyone know where I can pick up a 2nd hand nosecone in Blue?
